In Game Rules:

  • No offsides or slide tackles
  • Throw-ins are kick-ins from where the ball goes out
  • All other general soccer rules apply like fouls, corners, goal kicks, etc.

GAME DAY CHECK-OFF LIST:

Without exception all teams are required to have the following at each of their games:

  1. Player Registration/ID Card – No Player ID = No Play. There will be no exceptions. If players forgets their ID, then they can pay for a duplicate ID card for $5 and be eligible to play w/league permission.
  2. Proper Uniforms – all teams are responsible for having matching uniforms and individual jersey numbers for each player. Exception is when alternate color is used and numbers may not match-up, in which case, please write-in the alternate numbers. In case of color conflict, home team changes color.
  3. You are allowed to use the following cleat styles:
    1. Turf shoes are best which have the small nubs or smaller studs that provide specific traction optimized for turf.
    2. Molded Cleats (rubber or plastic and similar to Copa style cleats)
    3. Turf Shoes
    4. Indoor Shoes
  4. You are not allowed to use the following cleat styles:
    1. Metal Cleats
    2. Interchangeable Cleats (metal/plastic)

GAME START TIME AND SCHEDULING:

  1. 5 Minute Wait Period – If one team is unable to field at least four (4) players ON THE FIELD, then that team must forfeit. If opposing team agrees to play after the wait period, they will begin with a 1-0 lead.
  2. Referees Grace Period – Occasionally a referee will fail to show up or will show up more than 30 minutes late. The game will be postponed and rescheduled at the earliest date.
  3. Rainouts & Cancellations – Team managers are responsible for letting their players know when games are canceled. We usually wait it out so the cut-off is one hour before the start of the first game. If games are called off, then we will post it to our facebook page, our homepage, and email or text the captains so they can let you know.
  4. Scoring is as follows: 6 points for a win, 3 points for a tie, 0 points for a loss, and 1 point for a shut-out (0-0 is not a shut-out).

Yellow Cards – Any player receiving three yellow cards within a season will receive a red card.

Red Card – A red card will result in a mandatory one game suspension and $25 fine.
